Support and Counseling Ministries
Divorce Care – Support ministry for those going through a separation or divorce. The meetings are typically on Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. We meet from September to December. If there is enough interest, a group may form for January through May. The class is free, but a workbook is needed (cost of workbook is $12.00). Bereavement Support – The bereavement support group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, in the Friendship Room. Speakers, special programs and times of sharing are all part of this program. Dick True, a local chaplain, counselor and pastor is our facilitator. Open to all who have suffered a significant loss. One-on-One Counseling - For those needing personal counseling, we offer counseling services by Malcolm and Judy Jackson. They have an office in the church building and can be reached for appointments and information at the church office at: 643-5713. If you would like, you can click here and you'll be contacted. Budget & Financial Counselling - We have a number of folks who are trained to help you establish a personal or family budget. If you would like to know more or perhaps talk to someone about how that can help, please click here and check the Budget Counselling box.
Special Needs Support Group – Meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Childcare is provided. There is no admission charge, but reservations are required. For more information contact Maureen at 643-5713 extension 54. Please leave a message.
