Bethany Around the Globe
We're committed to partnering with individuals & groups around the world who have hearts that beat in tandem with God's heart. Our desire is that the unfinished task of bringing Christ to the nations will be seriously impacted because of our partnerships with those who have chosen to invest their lives cross-culturally for the kingdom. We're particularly proud that many of those we partner with call Bethany their home. Here's a brief snapshot of those with whom we're involved.
Great Britain
The Kineman family arrived in Great Britain in 1993 to work with the Foust family to develop leadership and spiritual maturity in a new church plant. After four years, the church hired a young man from the congregation who was trained & equipped to pastor the church so that the Fousts & Kinemans could disengage from that church and begin in a new location. In 1998, the Kinemans partnered with a local congregation that had been praying about a potential church plant, and together they launched Sunday services in 2000. They are active participants in the community, running basketball clinics, speaking at schools & churches, and teaching/leading various youth & adult activities.
Angela spent many of her formative years here at Bethany, and now serves alongside her husband Graham as they pastor a church together and continue to be involved in church planting in and around Great Britain. As of late 2006, they are fully self-supporting.
India
The Rees family has been serving in southern India for many years. They work primarily with a Leprosy Hospital, and have recently begun working with those suffering with HIV. Church planting, teaching & preaching are also a large passion of their ministry in India.
The Uriah family has been serving in India for many years. They direct Jaintia India Mission, whose primary task is evangelizing, church planting, and equipping leaders.
New Zealand
Having been discipled at Bethany, Jill's ministry now is to help people get close to Jesus and stay there, to love Him, and to draw others into that intimacy with Christ. While discipleship happens primarily in close relationships, technology is lending a hand too. Shore Community Christian Church's services are broadcast throughout New Zealand. Viewers of those programs are forming house churches. Jill's role is to equip, supply, network, and nurture these churches. NZ is multi-cultural with a huge potential for reaching the entire Asia-Pacific region. Over 100,000 international students study English in NZ. They could be the next wave of evangelists and disciplers in their home cultures! The harvest is ripe. Over 40 languages are spoken in Auckland! Pray for courage, wisdom, compassion, grace, discernment, and opportunities.
Southeast Asia
Another of the many whom we're proud to call our own! Working in Bible translation and linguistic work among minority language groups in Indonesia.
New York City
Jeff also spent his formative years here at Bethany. Now working as a church planter in New York City, currently with Community Christian Church.
St. Louis
Roger is also a product of Bethany. Working with the Inner City Church in St. Louis, MO. Preaching, teaching, and distributing food and clothing to those in need.
Indianapolis

Working to contact, connect, communicate, and congregate with the ever-growing Hispanic population in Indianapolis.
Liberia
Matthew & Plensah Sakeuh and family plan to return shortly to Monrovia, Liberia to begin Africa Indigenous Evangelical Missions. They have very ambitious, God-sized dreams for their war-torn homeland. Those dreams include a school, a medical facility, and a church-planting center. Visit the AIEM site for further information.
