Welcome!  Thanks for checking us out!  We do hope you'll join us for worship on Sunday.  Who are we kidding...we hope you'll plug in here at Bethany and call us your church home!  But a few things you need to know about us first....

We're Not All That....

• We have no desire to compete for your attention.
• We’ve never had a “college ministry” that’s been all that successful or attractive.
• Our worship services are done with excellence and have a broad appeal.  Our music style is a blend, and leans progressive.  But if you’re looking for something that rocks, we’re probably not it.
• We see nothing wrong with coffee bars & such.  We think its cool, too.  We just don’t do that much of it.
• We’ve been around for a while.  We have people of all ages.  There are 7th graders & 77-year-olds in our worship services.  Some get dressed up, some don’t.  

We admit it...we’re not the newest thing in town.  And we’re OK with that.

However....

There are things about us that can be a real bonus for your college experience.  And we’re OK with that, too.

• We’re a multi-generational church full of people who strive to be God-followers.
• Our teaching & preaching is relevant and geared to making Scripture come alive.
• We have opportunities to plug in, serve, and be a part of ministry.  Spectating doesn’t do us, or you, any good.
• We have people here that want to get to know you, mentor you, and love you.
• We have people who know what it means to suffer, deal with disease & death, and face the various curveballs life sometimes creates.  You can learn from them.
• We’re committed to ministry in both our community and our world  -  opportunities for you to do the same will be abundant.
• We've committed to create an environment where you can 'Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.'

OK, So Here's Some Stuff About Us....

• We have services at 9:00 and 10:30

• Got gifts?  Plenty of avenues to serve & use them in ministry. We have AU students involved in ministries like Bethany Student Ministries, working with children, drama, music, and a host of other opportunities to 'serve your world.'
• If you’re interested, we have an Adopt-A-Student opportunity, and we’ll hook you up with a family from Bethany, sort of a family-away-from-home.  Pretty cool opportunity, if you’re so inclined. Tell us you're interested on the aforementioned fancy form a coupla bullet points above...
• LifeGroups are an exciting component of who we are, and you're invited to jump in head-first and experience authentic Biblical community with a group of God-followers.  Check it out; click here to find out more!

Bottom Line:  You Need A Church Home!

Don’t limit your college experience to the classroom.  There are LOTS of fantastic churches in the Anderson area, so make sure you dive in deep someplace.  If we’re not the place for you, we’ll help you find a church that fits!  It’s just too important!
