The job of the ministry consultant is to help bridge the gap between those not involved in ministry and opportunities to serve in the church body.  The ministry consultant's role is to be a connector, working to connect the person with the ministry.  He or she will help you in the discovery process of exploring your unique set of gifts, talents and abilities. 

As a prospective volunteer, you will find the ministry consultant ready to walk along side of you in your discovery process.  He or she will assist you to explore possibilities of service, your spiritual gifts, and your passions and talents.  They will follow you through the process.  They will make initial contacts with ministry leaders, arrange meetings, set up observations, follow up with contacts, and do everything possible to make sure you get a good fit for your unique set of gifts talents and abilities.

Ministry consultants are volunteers who are working to help create a volunteer culture within the church body.  We believe that volunteer ministry should be viewed as a natural and normal part of being a disciple of Jesus Christ and a member of Bethany Christian Church.
