Bob has been the Senior Pastor at Bethany since September 1991.  He joined the Bethany staff as Associate Minister in July of 1987.  Bob graduated "a few years ago" from Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary, where he met his wife Cindy.  Bob and Cindy have two married children and three grandchildren.  Bob loves to preach and see people become absorbed in the Word of God.  Oh, he's also a big fan of Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizza, and Graeters Ice Cream!

Kent Stookey

Associate Pastor Involvement & Pastoral Care

Kent grew up here at Bethany. He graduated from Johnson Bible College in 1979, and earned his Master of Divinity from Golden State School of Theology in 1991.  After ministering for about 20 years to churches in Pennsylvania and Indiana, he returned to Bethany as an Associate Minister in 1999. His current responsibilities include Pastoral Care and Involvement.  He oversees Bereavement Care, Divorce Care, Keenagers and our Car Ministry to shut-ins and nursing homes.  Kent's passion is to serve and help people, especially during difficult times like hospital stays, surgery or death.The better half of Kent's ministry is his wife Carol.  Kent has two grown children, Ryan and Matt.

Tim Fair

Youth Pastor

A true Indiana native, Tim grew up in Trafalgar, Indiana, developing a passion for sports and the outdoors. He graduated from Johnson Bible College in 2006.  It was there he met his wife, Courtney, and later married in the summer of 2007.  Tim enjoys anything outdoors including biking, hiking, and camping and also enjoys collecting and listening to records. He has been known to always have a book in his hand and highlighter in his pocket, and works hard adding to his book collection. Tim has worked at 2 different churches as an intern, a church plant in Knoxville, TN, and has had several other ministry experiences. He's excited about moving back to Colts country after several months in Yorktown, VA where he and Courtney were previously serving.

Larry Lipps

Children & Families

After working with Family Christian Stores for ten years and serving as an active member of the Bethany congregation for three of those years, Larry joined the staff in the newly expanded roll of Children and Families in the summer of 2001.  Larry has a passion (yes, some may say obsession) for seeing children and their parents grow together in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus.  Known to have a high level of energy (more like bouncing off the walls), and unorthodox ideas (you want to put a real fire engine where?), Larry loves working with our children and their families.  Larry's real source of pride and joy is his own lovely family.  He and his wife Wendy were married in 1992.  They have four children, Ana Beth, Micah, Caleb and Jesse.  If you have any questions about what we do or why we do it in the areas of children and family ministries, please contact Larry at the link below.

Dustin grew up at Bethany and is the Choir Director at Highland High School.  He, and his wife Jamie, recently moved back to Anderson after spending a year teaching in Kodiak, Alaska.  He has a music degree from Anderson University and is a talented vocalist and choral director.  He has a wealth of experience and is energetic and fun to be around.

Don Vanderluit

Facilities Manager 

Don has been a familiar face around Bethany for many years.  He just wrapped up a long tenure as an elder, and still functions as head maintenance guru during the week.  Don is married to Kay, and they both have been and continue to be actively involved in the life of Bethany.  We're thrilled to have Don around and to allow him space to use his "jack of all trades" abilities!

Tracy Odom

Secretary

Tracy began working at Bethany in December of 2004 as one of our wonderful secretaries.  She's married to Darren, the funniest person we know, and has two great kids.  Oh, and she drives a huge pickup truck!  We're thrilled to have her around.

Becky McMillan

Becky joined our office staff in June of 2007, though she's been a member of Bethany for 38 years.  She's been married for 32 years to her husband Lucky, and has three children:  Carly (husband Tyler) Kingery, Nathan & Alayna.  She also has three wonderful grandchildren:  Tavish age 9, Kendal age 5, and Nathan Jr. age 10 months.  Becky says she loves being here at Bethany, and looks forward to each day she is here working with this crazy bunch (though we're not real sure what she means by that).  In her spare time away from here, she likes to cook, fish, and ride her horse.  Though not at the same time... 

Laura Gloff

Administrative Assistant

Laura is married to Denny and they have two daughters, Amanda and Alycia. Laura grew up here at Bethany and has been involved with the choir and handbells.  She was one of our nursery school teachers for eight years.  Her main tasks now include working alongside Larry, Bob & Doug and helping them get their heads on straight!  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and music.  Much to the delight of the staff, she tends to provide goodies to eat when she's in the office!
